Recently, POCO has launched its new POCO M6 Pro 5G in India. The phone features a 6.79 inches FHD+ display, with an impressive 90Hz refresh rate, enabled by the 4G Gen 2 chipset. The phone is equipped with a dual rear camera of 50mp and includes a powerful 5,000 mAh battery supplemented by an 18W quick charger. The PO CO M6 Pro has a dual-tone finish, with a rectangular camera bar that extends across the top of the flat back. It is available in two different colours- Forest Green and Power Black. The phone is IP53 water resistant, it has plastic frame and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that allows quick unlock of the device. Additionally, there is a speaker grille and a USB Type-C port on the bottom edge, while a 3.5mm headphone jack and an IR blaster on the top edge. There’s no dedicated microSD slot on the POCO M6 Pro. The POCO M6 Pro 5G sports a 6.71-inch FHD+ 90Hz refresh rate display with a centred punch-hole camera for the selfie camera. Displays in both indoors and out look good. It supports a maximum brightness of 550 nits.

Talking about cameras, the POCO M6 Pro 5G features a 50MP primary camera along with a 2MP depth sensor on the rear part, while the front part consists of an 8MP selfie camera. The selfie camera is suitable for selfies and video calls. The primary camera captures images with decent details with a dynamic range of accuracy of colours. Point to be noted, the portrait mode encounters certain issues in edge detection. Overall, the camera performance is decent but the front camera could be improved.

The POCO M6 pro is a capable performer for everyday use with the new Snapdragon 4G Gen 2. The device adapts well to casual browsing, social networking, streaming and communicating in a seamless manner. It is able to run games such as BGMI successfully with no noticeable lags or problems, while simultaneous and gaming performance may not be particularly strong on the device. But the phone might face challenges under heavy loads. The POCO M6 Pro is available in two configurations of RAM and storage capacity: 4 GB + 64 GB, 6 GB + 128 GB. Both versions can expand substantially by 2 GB, while user expansion is available to 1 TB of RAM using a microSD card.

There’s an excellent battery life in the POCO M6 Pro. It’s equipped with a 5,000mAh battery to last for an entire day without recharging again after normal use.
